Ever have one of those PERFECT moments – where things are going sooooo smoothly… and you can identify the exact moment where whatever it was? IT WENT OFF THE RAILS?!
This just happened.
My brain went NOPE.
I was dreaming along, humming and typing (as you do), and weaving this amazing story for my Healing Hearts series when I heard the brakes screech (record scratch, fog horn, whatever) in my head – and I couldn’t remember who had what baby – and who was placed where in my mental map.
Spoilers – my character John & Lily were having this massive get together in my head and I started discussing who was there, etc, etc… when everything screamed STOP in my brain.
I haz de’ dumb.
So today – I spent SEVEN hours researching my own books, falling in love again (ahhh the torture LOL), plotting points on a timeline, and tracking babies… only to realize that I never told you (the reader) who some of these babies were – and when they were born.
Y’all? BABIES.
I love me some babies… and I know you do too!
Did you know Mike and Cora were going to have a baby? Juliet Logan was due to be a mama? I’m ashamed to say that I forgot! Keller and Julia had even had a little one…
There were SIX babies that have occurred over the twenty-two books, because I get so wrapped up on the story I am telling you NOW.
I’m flabbergasted – and inspired.
Do we need some novellas about our favorite soldiers’ babies?
