Hello my lovely Readers…
I am back from my first book signing at Wild Deadwood Reads and it was tremendous! I had such a blast traveling across the country with my husband – two hearts and the open road ahead of us! I have never been to South Dakota (nor Wyoming) and it’s truly incredible to see. We visited Devil’s Tower and Mount Rushmore. We arrived in Deadwood and I was enthralled at the old buildings and history in front of me. Brick streets carved a path in this tiny, hidden away valley leading us back to another time. Saloons, shops, bars, and hotels were everywhere – including actors who portrayed Wild Bill Hickok.
I had a chance to meet up with some phenomenal authors that I work with in the Silverpines series: Jenna Brandt, George McVey, Sophie Dawson and Martha Lynn Donovan. I also met Jennifer Jakes and Kim Killion from the Killion Group (they make spectacular book covers!) – as well as a famous model from Period Images – Michael Wayne Foster! He signed several books that had him on the cover (guess I need to put out another book with him on it! LOL!!)
The actual signing was so much fun. There was a flood of readers that ran the gauntlet of tables picking up swag, books, and getting autographs. I met so many smiling faces, gave away goodies, and held a raffle with Jenna. A plethora of photos were taken and posted on Facebook/Instagram. Wi-fi wasn’t the best… so not many YouTube videos were taken. I truly enjoyed being a part of Wild Deadwood Reads and already eyeing a book signing in Nashville for 2020!
Stay tuned for more updates and goodies coming this Summer! A new Billionaire book is on the horizon… as well as another Belle of Wyoming book. I have had a few people ask me if I am going to put out another Silverpines book? (The answer is YES!) … And there is something special in the works for later this year…
