It feels like standing at the starting line of a race, heart pounding, ready to burst forward at breakneck speed. But here’s the twist—this isn’t a sprint. It’s a marathon. A journey. And I’m savoring every step.

I’ve been busy behind the scenes, shifting strategies, making plans, and positioning every piece of this puzzle just right. My focus isn’t on reaching a finish line but embracing a new mindset—one that’s full of possibility, passion, and progress. There will be challenges, no doubt, but the horizon stretches wide, with no end in sight.

I quit my job – let’s just say that it will be book fodder for sure (grrr!) but I will enjoy writing the book and it will certainly be therapeutic for me.

This has been an incredible year for my writing – and I’m sure you are probably thinking, ‘my goodness she’s releasing a lot of books!’… and I am, because I LOVE these characters.

I’ve blessed to have the chance to meet so many people when I went to Space Coast Book Lovers Convention – and I have to admit that I would be going in 2023… EXCEPT… something came up.

I will be working a table at a convention for an author friend in Texas next year during the same time frame.

Am I being vague? OF COURSE!

I will not be signing (but I would love pics and to see people!) Shhh! I don’t want to break any rules, but I’m truly excited to see these friends and I’ve never been to this convention before (it’s a BIG one). As we get closer, more details will be shared… but remember – I will technically be a guest.

2023 will be bringing work in five book series – and as you probably have learned if you’ve followed me for a while? I rarely stick to my release dates. I usually end up moving them upwards and announce it here in my NL.

The five book series are:

• Billionaire Love Games – a sweet and clean billionaire series with a twist!
• Flyboys – omigosh I’m so ready to tackle Houdini’s story and share his secret!
• Healing Hearts – C’mon Perry, Keyes, Talbot, Pena…
• Flirt’s Battalion – SQUEEEEEE! I just finished the prequel and you will love the surprise in the book. I’ll give you a hint: blue eyes.
• Disaster City Search and Rescue – stay tuned! WaooooHooooooo!  (That’s my Alpo scream for all you Flyboys fans)

I’m currently filling out my planner, I’ve prepped my editor (LOL) for a flurry of books, and letting you all know now… I’ve got a TON of books planned for 2023.

I’ve been very careful because there’s been a lot of disturbing stuff in some other groups, but if you see something? PM me and I’ll get it taken down immediately.

I would really love to see more interaction so I can get to know you all a little better now that I’m not tied to a desk for sixty hours a week.

What did you think about Valkyrie? Isn’t he dreamy?

My editor is currently going through Forever Forgiven (Firefly’s story) and as soon as I have it back, I will be moving the preorder date up for everyone. I plan on releasing the book this month – and included an unedited glimpse at the story.

Remember Memories is actively on my laptop right now and in process. I am loving Clark’s story!

Flyboys has been front-and-center on my radar as the ‘team’ is growing. Reaper’s story is in process. Handsy and Hot Cakes just got their books up on preorder… and I am currently looking for the perfect person to portray Caboose.

The Fall Back into Love box set will have Toby’s story (from Flyboys) but once the box set is no longer available, I will be releasing it as part of the series. So, as soon as I have a date for you? I’ll include the announcement.

On personal news… I fell off the carb wagon HARD.

Oh my gosh, I had no idea how much I was stress eating at my job, nor how much fast food, until I went to put on my clothes and nothing fit right. Stress weight gain is legit. So, back to focusing on me.

I hope you all had a beautiful Independence Day! I went over to my in-laws for grilling and fireworks. We watched them go off above a small lake behind their house… and the weather was perfect.

The Mister and I might be going up to the NY state for an impromptu getaway to visit my son, so I’ll be sharing a few family pics in the next week or two.

#ProjectMushiness (Remember Wishes) is going along swimmingly.

It’s an ‘extra’ (like I don’t have enough going on…LOL) book that I am going to release later this year and squeezing it in. Omgosh, I have smiled and cried staring at my laptop. Y’all – it’s so.much.epic.love… just when you think you know what is coming next? Boom!

I cannot wait to go – and on that note?

I have been thinking about travel… and how I incorporate it in my books. That is one thing about writing/reading – I can be anywhere in the world whenever I want to be.

In Forever Faithful, I had Jackson sweep Harley away to New Orleans for a romantic rendezvous of chicory coffee and beignets. If you’ve never been to New Orleans – it’s an experience. You can smell the ocean, feel the humidity (omigosh my hair was a mess), and breathe the scents of the Quarter.

The coffee, the shops, the pralines… it’s alive with wonder and an experience I will never forget. We rode segways through the streets, seeing all the sights… well, I could go on for hours – but you get the drift. It’s lovely in an Old World fashion.

Chicory coffee has an original taste of it’s own – and writing that scene let me experience that moment again with my husband, sitting at the picnic tables along the river, breathing the powdered sugar, and smiling at the one you adore…

*sigh*

So – Imagine my surprise when he bought me chicory coffee K Cups for my Keurig. The photo below is what the box looked like, me minus the coffee (it was brewing) and a link to the book where you can read about their first date at the famous Cafe Du Monde.

Also – I included a link to the books you’ll see at Space Coast Book Lovers Convention. This will be my first time there and I cannot wait to get to Florida! Are there book conventions near you? Where would you like to meet at? I’m always looking and reached out to a few places in 2023…

Coming in June:

 The Accidental Girlfriend Rescue is coming out this Friday and I have one question for you: how long could you tread water? 

This was a tense book with a lot of twists, turns, and unexpected realities – and thoughtfulness. It made me seriously think – hard. How would I handle being cornered by the mob? What would I do differently?

Next, we get Armadillo’s story on June 24th in Forever Famous... grab your hats, hang on to your seats, because this guy will melt hearts, ladies!

My editor has messaged me over and over again how Armadillo is ‘her guy’ and how she ‘loves a man like that’ – I have to admit that I tend to agree. He’s unassuming, yet strong… sweet, yet giving…

He is just W.O.W.
