2020 is going to blossom into an incredible year!
There is so much on the horizon and books are mapped out for 2020 – it’s going to be incredible! New series, new stories, some more of your favorites return… just fun, fun, fun!
Most people wait until the end of December to do their year in review – but I’m feeling the urge to share now (be patient with me). This year brought about changes in ways I never imagined or expected. I started focusing on myself and how to improve the person I am.
Health:
I’ve been feeling bad for a while now (sluggish, exhausted, bloated) and decided to start Keto several months ago – cutting out all breads, pastas, sugars. The change was inspiring and kept me motivated. I am down 35 pounds – but my clothing is baggy and I feel terrific. This is what was most important to me – how I felt and if I could maintain it – and I can!
Author Events and sightings:
The chance to do my first author event at #WildDeadwoodReads was incredible. So many friendly faces – both authors and readers. Several fangirl moments, several squeeeeeels of delight as I met idols that I have read over the years. Collaborations and team-ups with some wondrous writers that inspire me to bring my craft to a higher level. Meeting Jenna Brandt & Jo Grafford had to be the cherry on the cake this year for me!
Jail time on Facebook is no fun and happened numerous times (hello and thank you- you made me think outside the box on how to reach my lovely Readers… my cloud still has a silver lining – regardless!) this year and met people I consider ‘sisters from other misters‘ in my writing family! Love you girls!
My limited free time has morphed into something more and blessed to have the support team around me. My husband’s work schedule changed, my son will be graduating this year from college, my daughter is growing into her own person – and above all – I am discovering just who I want to be in the future.
Thank you my lovely Readers for your support, feedback, and reviews. I read them all, smile wholeheartedly and sometimes cry, but I wouldn’t change one thing. Learning from each step I take, growing with each book, and developing a better grasp of the direction I want to take, makes me realize that the path we are on looks spectacular! I hope you will all continue reading, supporting, and traveling along with me as the new year and new decade peers around the corner.
Love you all!
